The College of New Caledonia is pleased to provide access to free copies of Office 365 for members of the CNC community.

Each CNC student or employee will be able to download Microsoft Office 365 on up to five personal devices. You can as well access the web version of Office 365 on any device with Internet connectivity.

As per our acceptable use policy for technology, the sharing of your account and password is strictly prohibited.

How to Install Office 365 Apps:

To register please visit https://portal.office.com and log in with your CNC email and password. 
*Your CNC email address is username@cnc.bc.ca*

Applications available for Computers and Tablets:

Please note that if you have a Chromebook, you will have to use the web version of office.

1. Go to https://portal.office.com

2. Log in with your CNC email and password (your CNC email is ‘username@cnc.bc.ca’)

3. On your Office 365 Account Home page you have the option to install Office Apps in the top right hand corner of your screen.

4. Click "Office 365 Apps", this will download the setup file for office. Double click on the setup file and follow the instructions it provides for installation.

OR Instructions for Web Access of Office 365:

1. Go to https://portal.office.com

2. Log in with your CNC email and password (your CNC email is ‘username@cnc.bc.ca’)

3. You should see a list of Office 365 apps on the left hand side of the screen

4. Click on the application you would like to use, and it will open the application on the web for use.

Download & Install Instructions for Android or Apple iOS devices:

1. Follow the steps above to login to the Office 365 home page

2. Click the same "Install Office" button, then click "Other install options"

3. Then Click on "View apps & devices"

4. Lastly, chose your type of device under "Get Office on your phone or tablet" and follow the instructions on the page
