CCleaner is a commonly used application for removing unwanted files and entries in Windows systems. It is helpful for ensuring that your device maintains its speed, and can save you some hard drive space. As we have moved to Dell systems and no longer support CCleaner, you may find that you have pop-ups asking you to pay for a professional version of CCleaner to install drivers. Dell has its own system for installing drivers, so if you no longer want CCleaner on your device, this guide can help you remove it.
1. Search "Add or remove programs" and click the first option at the top.
2. Search for "CCleaner" under "Apps & features"
3. Click the CCleaner icon, and press the "Uninstall" button.
4. You will have a screen pop up asking if you would like the program "CCleaner Installer" to access your device, select "Yes"
5. Select "Next >"
6. Select "Uninstall" and then "Finish" and you are done!
