Description / Summary: Guide on setting up various methods of Call Forwarding
|
|
1 - To set up any call forwarding in Teams either immediately, at the same time as you ring, or after you do not answer, click ••• next to your user icon in the top right corner, then select 'Settings'. For Yealink desk phones and the mobile app, this is found by tapping your user icon and selecting 'Settings'.
2 - Select the 'Calls' tab ('Calling' on mobile and Yealink desk phones). To forward your calls, select or toggle on 'Forward my Calls', or 'Call Forwarding' depending on your device.
3 - Choose your destination. You can either send calls straight to voicemail, to a number/contact (either any full phone number including external or another user), or set up a quick call pickup group.
New Number/Contact - Here you can type out your cell phone number, home number, CNC DID (for example a service number such as Helpdesks 250-561-5812) or select one of your co-workers who will provide coverage.
Call Pickup Group - Here you can select a number of other users to ring either in order listed or all at once.
4 - You can set up similar options while still ringing yourself by de-selecting 'Forwarding' or selecting 'Calls ring me' depending on your device. From here, you can either ring these options at the same time, or after going unanswered instead of going to voicemail.
