Report an Urgent Problem in a Class or Meeting Room


What is this?

Use this form to request urgent assistance with the IT technology in your classroom or meeting room, including remotely delivered classes.

Use of this form is reserved for urgent requests only, such as an in-session class where student learning may be disrupted. 

How is this used?

If you're about to start your class and the projector won't project, or the computer won't display the right screen or even let you log in ... and you feel the weight of all those eyeballs looking at you ... Use the "Get Help" button on the right to create an incident ticket. This particular form will instantly notify a group of technicians who can reach out with support.

Please remember that ITS hours of operation are 8.00 am - 4.00 pm Monday to Friday, and immediate, in-person assistance is dependent upon available resources.

What information do I need to use this form?

  • Is your class or meeting in session right now? If not, choose one of these options to report the problem.
  • What is your location?
    • Which campus are you at?
    • Which room are you in? If the form does not support your room number, please supply it in the description box.
  • How can we contact you? If you're at another campus, or we need to support you remotely, how can we connect with you?
  • What piece of equipment isn't working?
  • What is happening? Please describe your problem in as much detail as you can. Please provide a screen shot of your entire screen, or even a photograph, if you're presented with an error message. If we can see what you see, it will help us solve your problem faster.
  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried? Did you check that everything is plugged in? Are all the cables connected? Did you turn it off and on again? Here are some basic things to try.

Please use the "Get Help" button and complete the form to submit a ticket. Using this form will create a ticket that will immediately notify a group of technicians, and is the fastest way to get your problem fixed.
