What is this?
IT can create a shared email address, or mailbox, for your department or group. These allow multiple users to read and send email messages and can be used to provide a shared calendar for easy scheduling.
Managers may use the forms on the right to request the creation of a new shared mailbox, or to request access to, or revoke access from a shared mailbox.
What information do I need for this?
- Manager approval
- An address for your new shared mailbox. Ex: helpdesk@cnc.bc.ca
- A display name for your new email address. Ex: Helpdesk
- A list of people who are permitted to use this mailbox, and the level of access you wish them to have
