Extended Wifi / Generic Account
IT Services can create time limited accounts for users or groups of users who have an identified need for wireless or computer lab access on campus.
These accounts:
- Can only be requested by (or on behalf of) current CNC managers.
- Need to have a start and an end date.
- Will be provided to the requester for delivery to the end user(s).
The request requires the following information:
- Description of who is requesting access.
- The requesting manager
- Where the access will be needed.
- The number of accounts required.
- The start and end date they need access for.
How account creation is approved:
- The requesting manager specified will receive an automated email requiring they approve or deny the request.
- A member of the IT leadership team will review and approve or deny the request.
- The requester and specified manager will be automatically updated of the approval process as it occurs
