Description / Summary: Secure printing allows users to send print jobs to the device and have them stored on the device’s hard drive until they are released. This is very useful for confidential printing, as well as keeping prints organized in busy offices. No more print jobs walking away with the wrong person accidentally!

Make and Models: Konica Minolta bizhub: INFO-Palette Series (model numbers end in 4, 4e, 7, 8, & 9 and i), and on the smaller desktop / A4 multi-function devices.
1. Click File, Print (or Ctrl P) to open the print dialogue box. Click Properties/Printer Properties/ Printing Preferences to open the printer driver.
2. Basic Tab: From the Output Method pull down menu select Secure Print.
3. In the User Settings pop-up enter your ID and Password. Click OK to close the pop-up.
NOTE: the User Settings pop-up will only show up the first time you choose Secure Print. After that it will remember the ID and Password you used last time. If you wish to change the ID and/ or Password, click on User Settings to open the pop-up again.
4. Choose any other settings you need for your print job.
5. Click OK and Print to send the job to the printer.
Retrieving Secure Print Jobs
1. Press the Menu button on the panel.
2. On the screen select the Secure Print button.
3. Enter the ID (and Password if used) that you entered at your printer driver. The screen will display all the Secure Print jobs you have sent with that ID/ Password combination.
4. Press the Select All button, or highlight one individual file you wish to print.
5. Press Delete if you no longer wish to print that file, or Print to print it.
6. If you selected only one file to print, you will see the Print Setting confirmation screen (pictured below, left). Change any settings you need, including quantity, paper and finishing options. You may also select the Preview On Screen button to see a preview of your document (pictured below, right).
7. Press Start to print out the document. The file(s) will automatic ally be deleted from the hard drive as soon as they are printed.
