Problem: Unable to login to CNC Account, CNC Connect, Microsoft, etc..

 

Description / Summary: Basic guide on troubleshooting login issues prior to contacting IT Services.

 

 

Overview: CNC Account Resources are used for things such as CNC Connect, M365, and more. If you are having difficulty accessing your account, this guide will show you some basic troubleshooting, and where to go if you require further support.


First Items to Check: To access CNC Account Resources, you must be currently enrolled or employed at the College. You will not be able to access any resources aside from CNC Connect (including your email), which is only available for 24 hours after resetting your password. If you are unsure if you are enrolled or employed at the College, please use the below information to verify your enrollment/employment prior to contacting IT Services:

Did you reset your password? Resetting your password is one of the most common ways to resolve account issues. Please follow this link for information on resetting your password: Reset Password

Username or Email? One of the most common issues you can run into while logging in is using your CNC Email instead of your username, and vice-versa. This can also be an issue if you are using your browsers auto-fill, so please clear your search history/cached credentials when attempting to login. Please see the below examples to understand how to avoid this:

Have you setup your MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)? MFA is a requirement for accessing all Microsoft resources using your CNC Account. These services include your Email, Office 365, and more. Please use the below guides according to your current MFA status for assistance:
